Unlike many other builders, Peter Shipps began his construction career doing both frame and trim carpentry as well as cabinet and furniture making. “I believe that my experience as a skilled carpenter is just as important as my abilities as a designer. Peter Shipps is also skilled in using computer-aided design (CAD) in the planning and implementation of his homes and communities. “The technology gives us the advantage of accuracy and visualization that is difficult to achieve without it. Sure, I still like to sketch and plan on paper, but once the concept is established, we take advantage of the capabilities of the technology.”
